What is Bite Size Bard?

Bite Size Bard started as an event in which actors present their favourite speeches or scenes from William Shakespeare's writings. Touring libraries, festivals and other non-traditional theatre venues, we present Shakespeare in a format that does not rely on fancy sets or elaborate costume. Instead we pare the performances down to the words and the interpretation of the actors. In presenting Shakespeare this way we are able to provide a more easy to accept version of Shakespeare that is worlds away from the (quite often) boring memories or thoughts they have about the plays. What Does it Cost?

Schools, Libraries, Events Days and Fixed Venues

Prices are negotiable, but our most common rate starts at £150 (within Merseyside) for a ninety minute show, which can be either straight through or including an interval.

Festivals & Street Theatre

The price will be highly dependant on travel distance and how many performers your require in attendance. For one actor, for one day of performance, in Manchester we recently charged just £150. However, it would be better to contact us to discuss your needs and allow us to offer you a competitive price.
